Prof. Dr. Grecebio Jonathan D. Alejandro
Director, Office for Graduate Research
The Office for Graduate Research (OGR) serves as the primary research arm of the UST Graduate School. Our mission is to cultivate a robust research culture among graduate students and faculty members by providing essential resources, funding opportunities, and rigorous ethical review processes. We are dedicated to supporting high-impact, multidisciplinary research that addresses contemporary societal issues, advances academic scholarship, and upholds the Thomasian core values of competence, commitment, and compassion.
We provide financial assistance and research grants to qualified graduate students working on their thesis or dissertation, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder scholarly innovation.
Learn More →All human-participant research conducted within the Graduate School undergoes strict evaluation by our Ethics Review Committee to guarantee the protection, rights, and welfare of all subjects.
Learn More →The OGR assists students and faculty in preparing their manuscripts for publication in high-tier, peer-reviewed international journals, including the official journal of the UST Graduate School.
Learn More →We regularly organize capacity-building workshops covering advanced statistical analysis, qualitative methodologies, academic writing, and intellectual property rights.
Learn More →Our office staff works hard to keep the daily operations of the OGR running smoothly, from greeting clienteles, to routing information to-and-from various academic units within or outside the University, to staying on top of our research management tasks.
